Using an Arduino circuit board connected to a moisture sensor that was wired and assembled by students, the class ventured out to Lincoln Park to conduct moisture testing in a variety of areas of the park and recorded their observations and hypothesize the reasons for the variations between the grass, the garden, the benches, and the playground, among other places.
